The annual UCC Banquet held on Saturday, May 3, was a grand success. There were more than 20 attendees in all, which included the new UCC Campus minister, Lisa Campbell, the UCCAA President, Lap Trinh, and the Director of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry for the Diocese of Fort Worth, Kevin Prevou. Dinner was prepared by Andrew Wulf and sponsored by the UCCAA. Chinh Ngo and Ana Gonzalez, both of whom graduated in May, were presented with their gifts and welcomed into the Alumni Association.

April 2008

The UCC Alumni fielded a team for the kickball tournament held earlier this month. Seven of our members participated and had a great time!

We will sponsor food for the UCC’s banquet to be held on Saturday, May 3, at 6.30pm. You are cordially invited to attend. Your contributions towards the banquet will be much appreciated. Checks may be made payable to the UCCAA.

Lisa Campbell has been appointed as the new Director of Campus Ministry at UTA. We welcome her!

January 2008

Preji Thomas took the opportunity to surprise us at our last alumni meeting. He revealed to us that he got married in December! We wish him well and pray for blessings on him and his newly married wife. Our next alumni meeting will be held on Friday, April 4, at the UCC. The Column is 2 years old! I would like to thank its contributors, Eric and Stephen, and the featured alumni, without whom this newsletter would be empty. Credit is also due to Lap, who works hard every month to get the content to me. You guys have been great! Thank you.

Next Meeting

Our next alumni meeting will be November 14, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the UCC.
