Nitin Prem D’Souza was born on August 6 in Mangalore, India. He graduated from the Honors College at the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems in 2004. He currently works as a Cognos developer in Altanta, GA, which is where he resides. An athlete by nature, he loves playing soccer, tennis and racquetball.
Josephine Elizabeth Fitzgibbons was born on November 4 in Grand Prairie, TX. She graduated from UT Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2007. At present, she lives in Plano, TX, and works for Jacobs Engineering Group in Dallas. She is a talented singer, and an accomplished dancer as well. Her hobbies include traveling, playing the piano, performing magic-tricks and drawing.
Preji G. Thomas was born on July 10, in the metropolitan city of Mumbai in India. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2004. Currently a resident of Irving, Texas, he is employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer with Trinity Industries in Dallas. His interests include chess, reading, movies and photography.
Alicia Rae Mireles was born on August 09. She graduated from UTA with a Bachelors degree in Communications (Advertising) in 2005. She lives in Austin, and serves as the Editorial Assistant for the Austin American-Statesman. Her hobbies and interests are wide-ranging, from painting, wine tasting, baking and home decor to running and hiking.
Krystal Gomes was born on May 23 in Mumbai, India and brought up in Muscat, Oman. She graduated from UT Arlington with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in August 2005. Very recently, she joined Citrix Online as a Quality Assurance Engineer. She moved to Santa Barbara, CA, to take up the new position. Active as ever, she still enjoys running, biking and swimming.
Manesh Aranha was born on February 15 in Mangalore, India. He graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering in 2004. He currently resides in Parsippany, NJ and is currently employed by Pricewaterhouse- Coopers. He enjoys reading, watching movies and playing video games.
Amanda Kristen Noboa nee Huntzinger was born on February 17 in Falls Church, Virginia. She graduated from UT Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2004. She resides in Arlington, TX, with her husband, Ricardo, also a UCC Alumnus. A registered nurse by profession, she is gifted soccer player and musician as well. She also enjoys reading and mountain biking.
Sohan D’Souza was born on July 29 in Mumbai, India. He graduated from UT Arlington with a Master of Science in Electrical Engg. in 2004. He resides in Dallas, TX, and is currently employed at Nortel Networks. A member of the UCC soccer team for many seasons, he also an avid listener of music and likes to work out to keep himself in shape.
Rochelle Pereira was born on February 22 in Mumbai, India. She graduated from UT Arlington with a Master of Science in Electrical Engg. in 2005. She currently lives in San Jose, CA, and works as a video software engineer for nVIDIA Corp. She likes to read interesting non-political material and recommends the ’Interpreter of maladies’, ’The God of small things’ and ’The Alchemist’. Most recently, she has learnt to ski, thanks to her tutors at the Sierra.

The purpose of the University Catholic Community Alumni Association (UCCAA) is to promote a continuing sense of community based in the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Church among former member of the University Catholic Community (formerly the Newman Club). Also, the UCCAA actively tries to foster deeper concern among its member for the welfare of the University Catholic Community (UCC).
